March 2021 marks the 30th Anniversary for ScreenCheck, seems just yesterday we celebrated our 25th Anniversary with an amazing Food Festival. Since the last anniversary a lot has happened, amazing projects, upgrades for our products, moving to a new office and we could not have imagined celebrating our thirty years of experience in ID Solutions using a ‘Teams’ meeting.
Having been 30 years around the sun, we know how to learn from and adapt to new situations. So, in the middle of this pandemic, we do want to use our 30th anniversary to recognise and celebrate the contribution of our amazing team, partners and customers.
We started this years’ anniversary last Friday, March 19th 2021, with an afternoon get together online (corona proof). It would not be a celebration without some champagne and food. A surprise package was delivered to all our hard working employees at their home office. After a glass of champagne and the ScreenCheck 30th anniversary logo presented, it was time for the online Buzzer Quiz to test some ScreenCheck knowledge. It was different, but great to “get together”, reflect and have some fun.
ScreenCheck 30 years offering ID Solutions
ScreenCheck opened its doors March 1991 in the Hague, the production of ID cards at the time was very specialized. Personalised cards could only be ordered in large quantities for specific printers. The cards were produced with large industrial presses or printers.
In the years that followed the development of paper id cards switched to plastic. ScreenCheck was one of the first companies in the world to anticipate this development. With the arrival of the computer, desktop card printer and smartcards, it became possible for organisations to create their own cards for id, payment and access in smaller runs.
After the arrival of the first desktop card printer in 1993 ScreenCheck developed matching BadgeMaker software in order to provide an efficient and easy card production solution for different organizations. ScreenCheck has sold more than 40,000 copies worldwide since.
With 30 years of experience in developing card software and an innovative look at the future ScreenCheck also offers CardsOnline, a card production and management solution in the Cloud. The online application can be used with a PC, tablet and mobile devices. CardsOnline links your ID card to the facility systems used within your organization.
ScreenCheck proudly looks back on her role in the identification industry over the past 30 years and is ready for the technological challenges that lie ahead.
